What I Wore: Sunday Funday
I want to start incorporating more posts on my blog that actually show me styling outfits instead of just talking about them. Putting all the individual pieces together and building an outfit from scratch is what's really the most fun anyway! This past Sunday we dropped the kids off at my parent’s house for a couple hours of alone time. When I think about it it’s really quite obnoxious how little time we get alone or just to ourselves for that matter! Nonetheless, we appreciate anytime we can get and we love to do everyday things (like shop at Homegoods and have Brunch) KIDLESS.
We attended The Mill Restaurant which is located on Annunciation in the CBD. We enjoyed chicken and waffles, french toast, and mimosas without hearing “MOMMY MOMMY MOMMYYYYY”. It was magical. Lol. I wanted to go for a comfortable, stylish look for the day so I paired this cotton bodycon dress with a vintage Tommy Hilfiger raincoat and my favorite Zara combat boots. The dress is basically see-through so I recommend pairing it with a long jacket/button down or wearing garments underneath that you don't mind being seen. The jacket and boots are both sold out but I linked similar designs below!
